Les principaux projets de TCSP sont les suivants : - La liaison entre Trévoux et Lyon : constitué d'une nouvelle ligne de bus à haut niveau de service (BHNS) circulant à 80% sur une voie dédiée au BHNS et aux modes doux, projet dit « BHNS »sur une voirie ouverte aux cycles, projet dit « BHNS ». .Ce projet est actuellement en phase d'études de projet, PRO et entrera dans sa phase de réalisation dès l'obtention des autorisations administratives. prochainement. - La liaison entre Crémieu et Lyon par Meyzieu constituée d'une nouvelle ligne de tramway et d'un itinéraire cyclable, projet dit « CFEL ». Ce projet est actuellement en phase de faisabilité et entrera prochainement dans sa phase AVP. Ces deux projets s'appuient sur la réutilisation d'anciennes emprises ferroviaires.
