Le SEROC, syndicat mixte associant un syndicat de collecte et trois communautés de communes, regroupant 160 communes et plus de 130 000 habitants, dispose de la compétence "traitement des déchets ménagers", ainsi qu'une compétence optionnelle pour la gestion des déchèteries. Dans le cadre de sa compétence déchèterie, le SEROC réalise en régie le transport de différents déchets (tout-venant, bois de rebut, déchets verts, gravats). Pour cela, le syndicat dispose d'un parc d'environ 30 caissons 10 m3 et 150 caissons de 30-35m3. Aujourd'hui 60 caissons sont en parfait état, il est prévu une remise en état d'environ 120 caissons. Cette remise en état se compose : - D'une prestation de peinture complète du caisson ; - D'une prestation de réparations selon le besoin et l'état du caisson. Afin que le service ne soit pas perturbé il est à prévoir une prestation d'environ 40-50 caissons maximum par an.
