RTE, the French electricity transmission system operator, is responsible for the development, implementation and operation of the connection of offshore wind farms to the French public power transmission system. In this context, RTE intends to carry out Geophysical surveys for its future Offshore Substations and Submarine Cables (excluding Landfall). The purpose of this Contract notice is to introduce the 3 potential waves of call for tenders covering some Geophysical survey needs in the coming years and in particular from 2025 to 2026. Estimated number of projects from 2025 to 2026: 4 projects. RTE reserves the right to cancel or add a project.

Geophysical surveys for Offshore Substations and Submarine Cable Routes - Envisaged Period : Spring 2025. The lot 1 corresponds to the first wave of call for tenders specific to the geophysical surveys (excluding Landfall) to be carried out. The specific call for tenders may include more than one project. The Contractor will be in charge of full geophysical survey covering (i) the Submarine Cable Routes from Nearshore to Offshore Substation (min. 40 meters water depth) and (ii) Offshore Substation fondation, including : - Review or perform bibliographical studies - Review Employer data - Define the methodology of the Survey to be carried out with the appropriate tools - Produce Procedures (technical, QHSE, Management and operational) - Mobilize the correct means, in due time to meet the schedule constraints - Complete the Scope of Services as per Employer specification and schedule - Analyse data further to the operation and produce report to the Employer Organisation.
