La consultation concerne l'exécution de marchés de travaux pour la rénovation énergétique de l'École Nationale Supérieure  d’Ingénieurs du Mans (ENSIM), composante de Le Mans Université  située sur le campus manceau (72).  L’opération est inscrite au CPER 2021/2027 avec une maitrise d’ouvrage qui sera assurée par le Rectorat de Nantes (Service des constructions universitaires SCUS).  Le bâtiment ENSIM a été construit en 1995 avec une surface de 4 920 m² SP organisée en « L » sur 2 niveaux. Il s’agit d’un ERP de 3ième catégorie de type R qui comprend 439 étudiants (dont 65 en classe préparatoire et 80 en contrat d’apprentissage) et 70 personnels administratifs, d’enseignement et de recherche (compris doctorants). L’objectif principal de l’opération de réhabilitation thermique est de s’inscrire dans la trajectoire du décret tertiaire en réalisant un gain sur le chauffage d’au moins 56% et un CEP maximum de 75 kWhep/m².an (10 kg CO2.m²shon.an pour les émissions de CO2). Des restructurations ponctuelles des pôles accueil, enseignement et administration, la création d’un Fab Lab, la reprise du câblage informatique et le remplacement de l’appareil élévateur seront également à réaliser.  L'opération bénéficiera des fonds européens pour la croissance verte (Feder). Les travaux de rénovation thermique et de restructuration auront lieu en site occupés.  À titre indicatif, l'objectif de démarrage des travaux (compris période de préparation) est fixé à janvier 2027 et la livraison attendue impérativement avant la rentrée universitaire 2028.
